January 19, 2007. This will turn out to be a major adventure day. Tom and I went and played on the park in the morning. We played fetch for a half an hour and then a man arrived with his dog. Tom had me back on the leash, but this time it was different. The other man brought his dog over, also on the leash and we got to sniff each other. He’s a little smaller than me, but he is also a pup around my age. He is a cross between a Jack Russell Terrier and a Rotweiller. When the ,man said that his pup doesn’t mind rough play, and urged Tom to free me from the leash. I was in heaven. Another pup that I can wrestle with, and jump on and play chase. Wow, this went on for about 45 minutes and it was finally time to go. Am I ever tired and happy.
Early in the afternoon, Caitlin arrived. We visited for a long time and I even crawled up onto her lap. Who says I can’t be a lap dog? Later on we went to meet Renee for dinner and then we went on a big car ride. We stopped and picked up Caitlin’s boyfriend Matias, and her mom. Then we all drove out to a place called Chilliwack, which is about an hour or so away. Caitlin had a skating competition to go to. When we got there, I got to ha
ve another walk around, before it was time to guard the truck again. Caitlin’s skating team finished in first, but, they are already the Canadian Champions in Synchronized Skating from 2006. Everyone jumped back in the truck afterwards and I lay down on Caitlin and Matias laps and went to sleep. Caitlin layed her head on me and so did Matias, and they both went to sleep too. We were all so tired.
