It has been a great week as far as obedience has been concerned, but the weather has not cooperated at all. They day after my grooming, I got soaked, almost drowned is more like it. I looked like a drowned rat after running in the park. My grooming held up pretty good though, and after spending $185 you would hope so.
I have been listening well to Tom and coming when called. I have even been able to play on one side of the park, while there were dogs on the other side too. Even some small fluff-ball types. I even had a day out there while Helicopter Man and the Chicken Wing Dancers were at the park. There was even a couple of instances when I was chasing a seagull and I came back when Tom called me.
Tom had to give me a couple of pills today because I apparently have a case of worms. I have lost 10 pounds since coming to Canada, but the vet said I was healthy and the weight loss was likely from all my exercise. Tom tried to hide those pills on me in my favourite wieners, but I was too smart for him and ate the wieners and left the pills. He got them in to me finally.
Here we are on a Friday night and we went and picked up Renee. Then we went back to Petcetera and bought me my first batch of adult food. I turn 1 year old sometime this month.
Wow, this adult food is good. Much bigger chunks and it is quite tasty. After I had a bite to eat, we went for our evening walk, in the rain unfortunately and I am soaked. The rubdown with the towel that Renee gave me made it worthwhile though.
