Tom loaded me in the truck and said we are going to court. Holy cow, I hope Tom isn’t a criminal. Actually, Tom is retired from his job and he used to be a police officer, but, he still has to appear as a witness occasionally. The case today is a murder trial. We drive down to the court house and into a big building. I’m sticking around in my truck, you’re not dragging me out of here. Too many crooks and lawyers walking by.
Fifteen minutes later, Tom is back and said he was not needed today and has to come back on Wednesday. So it is back home for us, change into old clothes and it is walk time. Yahoo, I love exploring the neighbourhood.
Later on, when Renee got home we all sat down to dinner. I sure love the smell of those ribs they are having, but, I’m being a really good boy and just lying down beside the table. I will not beg. No I will not, but, oh, those ribs smell good. Maybe one sniff, just one. MMMMM, they smell good, but, I can’t have any.
Later after dinner, Tom and Renee pack up their guitars into big cases. The first time they pulled those things out a couple of weeks ago, it scared me. They were really big things and they were hanging around their necks. I sure hope those things aren’t going to eat Tom and Renee. Both kept telling me it was OK, so I started to feel better about it. Then they started to make music with them. They are pretty good, I think. Anyway, tonight we are off to guitar lessons. After those are done, we are off for another nice long walk.
