Weiners Yum! Dried Weiners

March 18, 2007. It’s Sunday morning and it is a very different day for me. In the first place, Renee is not here like she usually is. Because of that, I went to hockey with Tom this morning. Usually I stay home and cuddle with Renee while Tom plays. We even went to a different rink today than I am used to on Thursday nights. It is very close to the lake trail that we usually walk on.

Another difference is that it wasn’t raining for the first time in about a week. After Tom was finished hockey, instead of going home, he went around the corner to the trails and he and I went for a two hour walk. We met a lot of people walking and jogging and a few dogs as well.

I even got to see a field mouse and a frog today. Neither one wanted to say hello to me though. Tom must be really tired after playing 90 minutes of hockey and then taking me on a two hour walk right after. I know I am.
I got to go wading in the stream again. I love doing that and getting a drink of water at the same time. Tom keeps saying I’m going to love it up at the lake. I don’t know what that means, but it sounds interesting nonetheless.

After we came back home and Tom tossed his hockey stuff in the washer, we went for breakfast and coffee. After that is done, I’m going to have a snooze on the couch cuddled up to Tom.

Tom made some very nice treats for me last night. He sliced up a couple of wieners thinly and then put them on a plate. He then micro waved the wiener slices on full power for a full five minutes. This cooks and dries the wieners out into very strong smelling and very, very tasty treats. I love them.
