Christmas Day

December 25, 2006. It’s Christmas Day, and I have the best present a dog could get. I have a new home with a family who loves me. The only thing that could make it even better would be my own boy. I am very happy here, and I really love Tom and Renee. What will the rest of today hold?

We went and played on the park again and met up with my friends the Border Collies. After a good romp, we bundled into the truck and went for a ride. Tom and Renee had their breakfast and coffee and I guarded the truck. I love lying in here and watching all the people go past. It is like my own big crate, with lots of room to move around.

Later after an afternoon snooze we went out for a walk and then we went over to friends for Christmas Dinner. They are really nice people and were all petting me all over. We had a great evening and then it was time to go home. What a great word, HOME. I finally have my own home and family. Yippee!!!
