We tried numerous times to phone Karl too, but the phone was always busy. He’s back from his trip to Utah, but we haven’t had a chance to talk to him as yet.
During our morning walk with Glenda, this time we saw two deer on the road and this time (finally) Tom managed to get pictures. They are not very good quality as he used his little HP camera and did a digital zoom to get them from the distance. The quality was further reduced when he cropped the pictures in the computer. Not great quality, but finally some photos of deer.
Tom got his diving gear from Perry who arrived late last night. One tank only has 1200 pounds of air in it and the other 900 pounds. It’s not optimum, but Tom figures at the shallow depths he will be working, that it will be more than sufficient to complete the repairs.
Glenda left this evening, but is hoping to be back next weekend with her daughter Laurel and just maybe a friend for me named Russ. He is a part sheepdog, so we should get along great.
This evening, when we went for our walk, Tom came prepared with his digital Nikon and a 300 mm telephoto lens. Of course, as you may expect, when we were unprepared we saw deer on three walks in a row. Tonight we were prepared with the heavy artillery, and of course…no deer!
